On January 23, exactly 40 years have passed since the launch of “Pogoria”, the first sailing ship built from scratch in Poland. The ship was built in 1980 in the Gda\u0144sk Shipyard, then named after Lenin. The designer of the unit was a young engineer, Zygmunt Chore\u0144. The success of “Pogoria” paved the way for further productions: “Dar M\u0142odych”, “Iskra”, “Fryderyk Chopin” and many other units.<\/p>\n
